Fall, Football, & Fashion

Posted on

Hello darlings!
Another week of 2015 is in the books and that means another week closer to the start of Fall...but whose counting?
I walked outside today and I was SO SO happy because the weather was so PERFECT.
Now, I'm in Oklahoma, so this could change tomorrow ;)
We had a little bit of rain, but other than that, today has been perfect!
So I just hope the weather wherever you are is just as perfect.
This past weekend was also the start of NFL football...in my house..football is almost a religion...
My husband's a football coach, so I really have no option ;)
&& we are in them midst of the college football season… BOOMER SOONER!
Now I know not all of us girls love football but I'm sure you atleast love dressing up and pretending to love the game, while looking your best..right?!?!?
Football fashion is just a category on it’s own!
When Fall arrives we go shopping for our football dresses, and these we will wear on Game Day and probably never again!
in the south, that looking your best for a football game is a must.
AM I RIGHT LADIES?!?!
Now in the south, looking your best for a football game is a must.
Now, some games we may throw on our team jersey and be done with it – and that is perfectly fine and comfortable- but others, a dress is more appropriate. ;)
THE  No. 1 game day rule is…
COMFORT.
Game days are usually very, very longggkggg days. Fun, but long.
So you want to be cute, classy and comfortable.
And that usually starts with your shoes.
I would NOT recommend heels… save those for going out, not for a sporting event.
Don’t wear a dress that is too short or itchy because then you will feel awkward all day.
Also remember that football games are a family event, so you always want to dress like you will be seeing your parents.
Save the skin tight short dresses for the bars. :)
And when it starts getting colder, jeans and leggings will save the day!
I love wearing dresses to football games, but my absolute favorite is to throw on a cute flowy top with my leggings and off I go, and if you’re tall like me, you can sometimes take something that would be too short on you as a dress and put them with leggings and off you go!
I wanted to show y’all a few dresses that I think are PERFECT for a day at the stadium. Now, some games we may throw on our team jersey and be done with it – and that is perfectly fine and comfortable- but others, a dress is more appropriate.
